Before Travel Point became a business, travelling was already part of Sandesh's life.
In 2016, larger and older travel operators already existed. Arranging a tour was only part of the work. The real challenge was earning people's trust.
Starting was not about having the biggest network.
It was about giving people a reason to travel with us again.
First trip together.
Then another.
And another.
Some journeys don't end when the tour does.
Where we are
Neral is home. Our main office is here.
Around it are people who help us stay connected with travellers across the region.

A note from Sandesh
Travel Point was never only about taking people from one place to another. What matters to us is the trust people place in us when they choose to travel with their family.
That is why Sandesh still travels with groups himself, and why every tour is planned with the care we would want for our own family.
Ten years later, the reason for travelling remains the same — discover new places, meet people and create journeys worth remembering.
Sandesh enjoyed travelling, exploring new places and meeting people along the way. After graduation, instead of keeping travel as a hobby, he decided to build his career around it.
He travelled through Maharashtra and other parts of India, often with different groups, getting to know each destination first-hand.
Along the way he learned the practical side of a journey: hotels, transport, timings, and what a group actually needs to travel comfortably.
What began as a love for discovering new places slowly became a journey of its own. In 2016, that passion took a name — Travel Point.

Trust, earned one group at a time
Founder
Energetic, outgoing and hands-on. Sandesh is usually the first person travellers meet, and often the one travelling with them.
What he looks after
Core Team Member
Calm, grounded and reliable. Sameer keeps the work moving behind every tour, and steps onto the road when a group needs him.
What he looks after
Many travellers come back to Travel Point again and again. Some travel with us two or three times in a single year.
On tour, people share long train rides, meals and early mornings. Often the relationship continues after the trip. Travellers treat Sandesh like a son, call him like a brother, invite him home and recommend Travel Point to their friends and family.
Some families trust us enough to send their elderly parents on a tour when they cannot travel with them.
The biggest achievement isn't only reaching a destination. It's being trusted with someone's family.
Senior travellers
For some travellers, the journey is familiar. For others, it may be their first time staying in a hotel or travelling with a group. Our job is to make both feel comfortable.

A moment from our journey
When tours had to be cancelled during the COVID period, Sandesh arranged refunds for travellers, even though it was a difficult time for the business as well. The people who had trusted Travel Point came first.
This is a story from the COVID period. It is not a refund guarantee and does not describe our current policy. Our current terms are in our Cancellation Policy.

“Our trip with Travel Point Tours was absolutely fantastic! Manager Sandesh and Sameer managed everything perfectly from start to finish. Their coordination, support, and friendly nature made our journey stress-free and enjoyable. The food was very tasty and hygienic. The DJ night was the highlight of the tour – full of fun, music, and great vibes! The bus was clean and comfortable, and the hotel stay was excellent with neat rooms and good service. Everything was well organized and beyond our expectations. We created so many beautiful memories. Highly recommended Travel Point Tours for anyone planning a fun and comfortable trip!”
